Jose Santiago graduated in Law School in 1999. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the world of Law and Real Estate.
As a licensed Brazilian attorney, Jose Santiago worked for one of the fastest growing Condominium Management Companies in São Paulo – Brazil. As the head of the Legal Department Jose Santiago was responsible for overseeing all Real Estate transactions, attend closings, draft contracts and perform trials.
In the United States, Jose Santiago attended Florida Metropolitan University and worked for the outside Counsel of the Broward County Property Appraisers Office in Fort Lauderdale, which is one of the biggest in the State of Florida.
His university degrees and experience acquired in the US working for this prestigious Fort Lauderdale Law Office dealing mostly with Contract Law and Real Estate qualifies him well enough to be considerate a specialist in the field of Real Estate and Law in both United States and Brazil.
In addition, Jose Santiago is one of the few Brazilian attorneys who are certified by First American Title Insurance, one of the biggest title insurance companies in the US. Such certification permits him to issue Title Opinions and analyze the title of the properties in Brazil and consequently, the issuance of a title insurance policy for all of his international clients who are purchasing real estate in Brazil, which is fundamental in any real estate transaction.
His multi-lingual skills, fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese, are definitely a great tool to be used by every client, international or local. His acquired knowledge in Immigration and Tax Laws is another big plus that his clients can take advantage of.
